Instructions for Shifu

• 5 or more sheets of 8.5" x 11" heavyweight paper
• Metal-edged ruler
• Butter knife
• Small hole punch
• Scissors or X-ACTO knife
• Cutting mat (optional)
• Multipurpose glue
• 5 or more small brads
• Adobe Reader software

1. Load the 8.5" x 11" paper into your printer.
2. Print the Artwork and Assembly PDFs by clicking on the Print icon or select Print from the File menu. From the dialog box:
   • Set Page Scaling to None.
   • Check the Auto-Rotate and Center box.
3. Click the Properties button. You'll do several things here:
   • Set Paper Size to Letter (8.5" x 11").
   • Set Paper Type to match the paper you're using.
   • Set Print Quality to Best.
   • Set Paper Source to Main tray.
   • Set Orientation to Portrait.
     
     

     NOTE:

     These directions are for a newer model printer. Where you find these fields will depend on your printer.

     
     
4. Select OK and print your pages. Set aside to dry completely.
5. For assembly, refer to the instructions in the Assembly PDF.
   
   

   NOTE:

   These instructions are for HP color inkjet printers, which load from the front. If your printer loads from the back, please consult your printer's user guide. Try printing a test page before using any specialty paper.
